Blast-Trials Successful! 30 Jan 2007
Auxetix is delighted to announce that the helical-auxetic fabrics developed as a result of the EPSRC-funded feasibility blast curtains study surpassed all expectations when they were subjected to explosion trails at a government test site. Specific details remain confidential, however, suffice it to say that the helical-auxetic materials produced by Heathcoat Fabrics were undamaged when subjected at close-range to the blast from a large quantity of explosives. |
