Blast Curtain Study Successfully Completed 25 Mar 2007
The EPSRC-funded feasibility study into the helical-auxetic blast curtains invented by Auxetix has been successfully completed on-schedule, with all the specified targets met or exceeded. Professor Ken Evans is so enthused by the progress made, that he is setting up a three-year follow-on program to exploit both the academic and commercial potential of the novel fabrics developed during this study. Auxetix is delighted with the knowledge, expertise and facilities that Heathcoat Fabrics brought to the study, and that they remain committed to future collaboration. |
